Netflix Announces Love is Blind Season 8 Return Date and Location
By Ricky Valero
The moment Love is Blind ends, we wonder when we can get our next fix on the popular Netflix reality TV series. Good news: during the reunion, it was announced that Netflix will be releasing the next show and the location where the show will take place. We share all the information about the upcoming 8th season of Love is Blind.
At the reunion, we unpacked a lot of off-screen mess that we needed answers to. First, Tyler talked about his relationship with his "kids," how much Ashley knew, and whether the couple was still together (they are). Of course, everyone's favorite scientist couple, Garrett and Taylor, are still together (which made us all happy). That said, there is still much we wish was unpacked that didn't get said, but that's every reunion.
When will Netflix air Love is Blind Season 8?
As announced during the reunion, Love is Blind will return on Valentine's Day in 2025. The pods will open on the show's fifth anniversary! How exciting, right? We can expect to follow singles as they attempt to find love sight unseen.
Where will Season 8 take place?
Also announced during the show is we will follow singles in the state of Minnesota. I look forward to the social media detectives attempting to determine who will be on the next season. I would look for a cast announcement at the end of January 2025. Maybe this season won't be as messy off-screen as this one was.
How many couples will make it to the altar?
Over the last few seasons, we've seen a massive shift in couples who don't even make it to the altar, leaving us wondering if this experiment works. Personally, I don't expect every couple to say I do at the altar, and because of that, I am not shocked to see more couples not making it to the altar.
What makes this experiment a success? Well, in the seven seasons of Love is Blind, we have seen nine couples say "I do" at the altar, with only two of them heading into divorce. From season 1, we have Lauren and Cameron and Amber and Matthew still going strong, which is a testimony to why the show works. It has become one of/if not the most popular reality series of all time, with BILLIONS of watch minutes every season. As long as a couple or two say I do every season, this experiment should be seen as working.
Love is Blind Seasons 1-7 are streaming on Netflix.
