The popular Lifetime reality TV series Married at First Sight is returning for its 18th season, which will kick off on October 15, 2024. This season is being touted as one of the show's most dramatic and best yet. In the upcoming season, we will have a new twist, including a dramatic couple swap. There is much to talk about during the season, and we will share where you can watch it and what you can expect.

Through 17 seasons, Married at First Sight has produced quite a few marriages, with 11 of them still currently together. Of course, this includes Season 1 couple Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner, who are still together and have two children. Like any dating or love-based reality show, we see couples break up, but that is part of the process.

Where is this season taking place?

The 18th season of Married at First Sight returns to Chicago, Illinois, where season 5 took place. As mentioned, this season has promising twists and turns, unlike any previous season. Season 5's couple, Ashley Petta and Anthony D'Amico, are among the most successful couples from the MAFS, as the couple is still together.

When will new episodes of Married at First Sight air?

The debut episode will air on October 15 on Lifetime and can be streamed on the Lifetime app. Fans can watch the matchmaking special, which shows how the couples were chosen and meet the case before the first official episode. New episodes of MAFS can be watched weekly on Tuesdays.

Following each episode, audiences can watch Married at First Sight: Afterparty, which Keshia Knight Pulliam hosts. You get a behind-the-scenes look at the show as Pulliam brings on participants and special guests. Also, during Beyond Decision Day, viewers will watch the cameras keep rolling past Decision Day and reveal what goes down after the experiment comes to an end and the marriage gets more real.

What can you expect from Season 18 from Married at First Sight?

The 18th season will follow five couples as they marry complete strangers and navigate eight weeks of life together. With the help of Pastor Cal and others, the case members will go through counseling that challenges the couples. The eighth week to the decision day is whether the couple will be in an eight-week marriage or divorce.

Married at First Sight Season 18 debuts on October 15.
