The fall season is slowly kicking into high gear, meaning we are on the verge of cold weather. Nothing is better than sitting on the couch, drinking coffee, snuggling up in our blankets, and watching some good reality TV. From housewives to villains to singles finding love, there is a plethora of reality TV shows coming in October, and we share what shows and when you can expect to start watching them.

It all started in 1948 with the first-ever reality show, Candid Camera. Shows like The Dating Game, Cops, and much later, the bubble bursts with The Real World. Over the last few years, the reality TV world has exploded and become even larger. Each network and streamer has produced a wide range of shows, from love-based to competition-based to matchmaking.

Love is Blind Season 7 - (October 2)

Love is Blind is returning with singles from Washington, D.C., set to get engaged sight unseen. After the engagements, the couples set off to Cabo to see if the physical aspect matched the emotional connection in the pods. In a few short weeks, the engaged couples will walk down the aisle and reveal if love is really blind. The show returns to Netflix on Oct. 2 and will have new episodes weekly on Wednesday through Oct. 30.

Our favorite housewives from New York City and Potomac are returning to our TVs. Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Sai De Silva, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield are joined by new housewife Racquel Chevremont in the 15th season of the series in New York City. In Potomac, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, Wendy Osefo, and Mia Thornton are joined by new housewives Keiarna Stewart and Stacey Rusch in the ninth season of the Bravo series.

House of Villain Season 2 - (October 9)

The popular E! series debuted in 2023 and is returning for a second season, where we see some of the notorious villains from reality TV history battling it out for a chance to win $200,000. Season 2 sees The Bachelor alum Victoria Larson, Bad Girls Club Camilla Poindexter, Survivor winner Richard Hatch and more.

Married at First Sight Season 18 - (October 15)

The couple marrying a complete stranger is returning to Chicago for the 18th season of Married at First Sight. The series follows couples as they get married at the altar, travel to their honeymoon, and move in together. The highly successful series returns in what promises to be one of the most explosive seasons to date to Lifetime on Oct. 15.

The Wranglers - (October 24)

In the same vein as Below Deck and Vanderpump Villa, the new CW series The Wranglers will follow the personal and professional lives of young staff members working at the Circle Bar Dude Ranch in Montana. Following professional cowboy and cowgirl lives? Surely, there will be lots of drama for us to watch unfold.
