Love is in the air: Love is Blind's Shayne Jansen and The Trust's Julie Theis Are Dating!

Shayne isn't the only one with prayer hands hoping his new budding romance works out.
The tides are finally turning for Shayne, and I couldn't be happier for him. He recently closed off his relationship with The Trust's Julie Theis. You have to love it when the reality romances cross shows. Let's look at Shayne and Julie's lives, loves, and Netflix history.

About Shayne Jansen

Shayne, who is a personal trainer, first showed up in the Love is Blind pods on season 2 looking for a wife. He left the show single after a roller-coaster relationship with Out of the Pods host Natalie Mina. The audience, including myself, was definitely divided. He had a slightly flirtatious relationship with his other connection, Shaina Hurley, which was hard to watch. And not because of all Shaina's squinting. Natalie and Shayne also butted heads so much I wanted to break up with them. After exchanging some tense words off camera, there was no way the two were saying I do. Still waiting to see those text messages.

No on knew what to expect when Shayne hit the beach on Perfect Match. His appearance and brief romance with Too Hot to Handle's Chloe Veitch, their break up and post-show drama, and Shayne's loss of his mother left me rooting for him to find his long-term love. I love Chloe, but she did him dirty when she returned with The Circle's Mitchell Eason. We were rooting for you!

About Julie Theis

Julie made her reality TV debut on The Trust: A Game of Greed season 1. She won the show and over $60,000 from the grand prize. Her background in consumer psychology had to come in handy, navigating the competition show. Julie also had a very rough ride on The Trust. Her gameplay included a lot of manipulation and selfish choices. That's fair for a competition, but she didn't win over viewers.

Julie's personal life also had a lot of challenges. Like Shayne, Julie struggled with her personal life. She went through homelessness and abuse, so it's understandable why she'd play a cutthroat game to secure the bag.

Even though The Trust is not a dating show, Julie did have an on-screen relationship with fellow contestant and winner Jake Chocholous. They attempted to continue dating in the real world but couldn't make the distance work.

Julie and Shayne make it official

While they've been dating for a while, Shayne and Julie went Instagram official on October 13th. They each shared snaps of their lives together so far, with Shayne adorably captioning his post "love is her" and Julie writing "mine." They've been teasing their romance for months with flirty comments, but this is the first time they've both acknowledged publicly that they're a couple.

Shayne joked on Facebook that he and Julie may watch each other's seasons, and film their reactions to their edits and romances. Now that's what we want to see!
