Love is Blind Giannina Milady Gibelli and The Bachelorette Alum Blake Horstmann Get Engaged

Who doesn't love a reality TV mashup when it comes to couples? We know that we do. Love is Blind, Giannina Milady Gibelli and The Bachelorette Blake Horstmann announced that they are engaged. The couple announced it after welcoming their first child into the world eight months ago.

Giannina was on the first season of Netflix's Love is Blind, where she got engaged to Damian Powers. The couple called it quits on their wedding day but continued dating after the show. In 2021, they split after Powers was accused of cheating with Too Hot to Handle's Francesca Farago (he denied those claims). As for Blake, he competed for the attention of season 14's Becca Kufrin on The Bachelorette, where he was the runner-up. He later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise but didn't find love during his time on the show.

Gianna and Blake met on a show they filmed together for Paramount+. Post-show, the couple was rumored to be dating towards the end of 2021 as they spent New Year together. Because of the show they filmed together, they weren't allowed to post one another on their socials, but both left hints. By the end of 2022, Blake asked Gianna to move in with him at his house in Colorado.

The duo appeared during the Love is Blind Season 6 reunion, discussing their relationship and revealing that they were having a baby. Gianna revealed that she was supposed to be on Season 1 of Netflix Perfect Match but ended up meeting Blake. In March of this year, the couple welcomed their son, Heath Orion, into their family. We saw the couple make another appearance at the Love is Blind Season 7 reunion, where the world got to meet Heath.

Fast-forward to October 30, and Blake surprised Giannina by proposing to her while on vacation in Madrid, Spain. Giannina said yes before Blake could even open the box. As you can see above, the couple shared a photo of the engagement.

The best thing about this entire thing is these two found each other AFTER appearing on shows where they wanted to find love. It's a multi-verse of a family from two different sides of the world, and it would be cool to see more mixing and mingling of different networks finding love on reality shows. Of course, a little spoiler alert, but we can expect that in Season 3 of Perfect Match coming in 2025, different stars from other networks will come on the show to find love.
