Is The Later Daters our latest binge-worthy series from our favorite streaming platform? Netflix released the eight-episode series, which follows six older people trying to find new love later in life. It comes from the creators of Love on the Spectrum, which has gotten massive praise. So, does The Later Daters knock it out of the park? Let's dive in.

With the help of their adult kids, friends, and relationship experts, The Later Daters follows six baby boomers trying to get another shot at love. Logan Ury, author of "How Not to Die Alone," coaches singles on navigating the dating world. Ury has her hands full trying to navigate the personalities from our cast in Anise (62), Suzanne (63), Nate (56), Pam (71), Lori (57), and Greg (61).

Let me start by saying this all begins with the expert, Logan Ury, who came off as fantastic and knowledgeable in attempting to find these people's true love. Ury didn't come off as someone trying to navigate a paycheck but as someone who loved doing what they did. It's not easy working with the "baby boomers," as the show says, to find love in the modern age of technology. She was the start of making this show great, and the rest fell into place.

I hope the world is ready to fall in love with Anise Mastin. The 63-year-old has such a beautiful and poignant story that will win the hearts of everyone. At the young age of 27, she became a widow after her husband died during a workplace accident. Mastin had to navigate the world as a single parent, which was challenging. I won't reveal much about her or what happened with her on the show, but I hope you fall in love with her as much as I did.

Overall, The Later Daters works because of Logan Ury and this incredible cast of singles looking for love. There is nothing more rewarding than watching people navigate trying to find love this late in life. It's what draws so many: The Golden Bachelor and Bachelorette because they are easy to root for, but the number of times you say "awe" when clamoring over their journies or tears coming down your face is beautiful. If you want a great series to binge over the holidays, make it The Later Daters.

All eight episodes of The Later Daters are streaming on Netflix.
