Reality TV Shows We Were Thankful For in 2024
By Ricky Valero
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Star Stepping readers. Each year, we are continually thankful for things. If you are like me, you are grateful for reality TV because it is one of my favorite things to turn on after a long day at the office. In 2024, we've seen new seasons of shows we love and the debut of new shows we grew to love. Today, as we celebrate things we are thankful for, I share the reality TV shows we are thankful for this year.
We all have our favorite reality TV shows, and no matter when they air, we are locked in and ready to watch them. This year, a new wave of reality TV shows has debuted. From the series The Golden Bachelorette to Couple to Thruple to The Never Ever Mets, producers have found unique ways to capture the attention of audiences.
Love is Blind: UK
Our favorite reality TV show, where people find love behind the pods, went across the pod. Singles in the United Kingdom entered the pods in an attempt to fall in love without ever having seen each other. The season featured a reminder of what this show was all about, with these singles seemingly looking for love and not fame.
Three couples said I do in Bobby and Jasmine, Steven and Sabrina, and Benaiah and Nicole. However, we were shocked during the reunion when everyone's favorite couple, Steven and Sabrina's marriage, fell apart shortly after the cameras were shut off. Of course, the most exciting thing is that we will have a second season of singles from the UK looking for love.
Love is Blind Season 6 & 7
In Seasons 6 and 7 of Love is Blind, we had singles from North Carolina and Washington, D.C., looking for love in the pods. We were introduced to new fan favorites in Charlotte with Chelsea, AD, and our sole married couple, Amy and Johnny. There are also some villains with Jeramey, Jimmy, and Clay.
In Washington, D.C., the season was filled with as much drama off the screen as it was on the screen. Nonetheless, we had plenty of love to go around for seven engaged couples. Two couples say I do in Ashley and Tyler and Taylor and Garrett. Our new fan favorites in the nation's capital included Marissa, Katie Hannah, Monica, and Alexandra.
The show continues to be the best reality show regardless of what happens during the season because of the drama. At the end of the day, couples are still getting married, which is what the show is about.
Vanderpump Villa
A new series from Lisa Vanderpump was introduced to a French chateau where staff members provided guests with a luxurious Vanderpump-curated experience. The show had rivalries, romance, and drama that come with living and working together 24/7. This was by far one of my favorite new reality shows of 2024. It took some of the best elements of shows like this and filled it with a wild and crazy ride while making new reality stars. Lisa was a great host, and cast members like Caroline, Gabriella, and Anthony made the show great.
