The Ultimatum: Queer Love is a Netflix dating show where one significant other in a couple gives an ultimatum to their partner - to get married or move on. The show, which is a spinoff of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, is approaching its second season. It's not much yet, but here's what we know so far.

Netflix describes the show by saying: “A new group of queer and non-binary couples are risking it all for true love.” A group of women and non-binary couples decide the fate of their relationships. Couples swap partners for a trial marriage and determine whether they want to get married, break up, or date their trial marriage partner.

Netflix officially announced the show would get a second season in May of 2024. There is no official premiere date for the show’s second season. Filming for The Ultimatum: Queer Love took place in Miami this season.

The Ultimatum: Queer Love is an original Netflix series and can be seen on the streaming service when the show premieres. There will be 10 episodes of the show this time around. JoAnna Garcia Swisher hosts The Ultimatum: Queer Love. She is best known for her roles in Reba and Sweet Magnolias. Follow JoAnna on Instagram: @jogarciaswisher

While the official cast for season 2 of the show hasn’t been revealed, here are updates on the couples from the first season of the show while we wait.

Are any of the couples of The Ultimatum: Queer Love still together?

The only couple still together from the show are Sam Mark and Aussie Chau. The other couples, Mildred Woody and Tiff Der, Mal Wright and Yoly Rojas (got engaged but have since broken up), Lexi Goldberg and Rae Cheung-Sutton (got engaged on the show, but have since broken up), and Xander Boger and Vanessa Papa, didn't make it in the end. Xander and Yoly developed feelings for each other during their trial marriage, and it ended the relationship with Vanessa.

Despite attempts by Xander and Yoly to attempt to rekindle their showmance, the two did not ultimately work out.
