The Bachelor is entering its 29th season in 2025. The series has a long series of tumultuous relationships between its now five-strong empire of dating shows (The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, The Golden Bachelor, and The Golden Bachelorette; RIP Listen to Your Heart). Out of its 29 final rose ceremonies, six couples are still together.

Here are the fates of the winners of The Bachelor and where they are now.

The Bachelor couples that are still together

Season 13, Jason and Molly Mesnick

As is typical of The Bachelor franchise, Jason Mesnick was plucked from a prior season of The Bachelorette to lead the series after being turned down by DeAnna Pappas.

Molly was not technically the winner of Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor. She was the runner-up, as Jason left the show with Melissa Rycroft. He broke up with Melissa on After the Final Rose, asking Molly Malaney for a second chance.

The couple went on to get married in 2010 and have one child together, a daughter, Riley. Jason has a son, Tyler, from a prior relationship.

Melissa Rycroft went on to win season 15 of Dancing with the Stars. She is married to insurance broker and TV personality Tye Strickland, and the couple have three children together.

Season 17, Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici

Sean Lowe was chosen as the show lead after being dumped by The Bachelorette’s Emily Maynard. He gained a reputation as the “virgin bachelor” for choosing to save himself for marriage to his future partner. He tied the knot live with his season’s winner and current wife, Catherine Guidici on a special episode of The Bachelor.

That was not the end of the couple’s reality TV journey, however. Sean and Catherine went on to appear on Celebrity Wife Swap alongside Jason and Molly Mesnick, as well as Marriage Boot Camp

Despite pranking fans with a breakup announcement in 2023 which was published on BachelorNation.com, the couple is still going strong and has three children together.

Season 22, Arie Luyendyk Jr and Lauren Burnham

Arie’s season of The Bachelor was another controversial one. Once again, we saw a couple (Arie and original winner, Becca Kufrin) get engaged in the series finale. Despite getting his final rose, Arie broke up with Becca to go on and propose to Lauren on the After the Final Rose special for his season.

Chris Harrison, original Bachelor host, officiated the couple’s wedding in Hawaii in 2019. The two have three children together, including a set of twins.

Season 25, Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell

Matt James, friend of The Bachelorette contestant Tyler Cameron, was originally rumored to join his buddy on Hannah Brown’s search for love, but he ended up becoming The Bachelor lead instead.

Matt’s journey to find love was not without its challenges. Despite giving his final rose to graphic designer Rachael, a scandal erupted when photos of Rachael attending a plantation party in college surfaced. With Matt James being the first black bachelor, the accusations of racism were hard for the couple to navigate, and they ended things in 2021 shortly after the After the Final Rose special ended.

The breakup didn’t last, however, and the couple has been back together for three years. Rachael recently appeared on Matt’s YouTube channel to do a Q&A with Matt about their relationship.

Season 27, Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar

Zach Shallcross became the Bachelor after also appearing on The Bachelorette, featuring dual Bachelorettes Gaby Windey and Rachel Recchia. Shallcross chose to pursue Rachel and was eliminated before the finale.

Kaity Biggar was one of 30 women competing for the tech sales executive’s heart on season 27 of The Bachelor. The 29-year-old travel nurse from Ontario, Canada wasn’t confident she’d find love on reality TV, but the pair has been together since getting engaged on Zach’s season finale. Zach and Kaity moved into a home in Austin, TX together in July 2023. They are eyeing a 2025 wedding date.

Season 28, Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson

Joey is our most recent Bachelor to have taken his shot at finding love. He was the runner-up on season 20 of The Bachelorette with Charity Lawson. One of the least dramatic engagements in Bachelor Nation history, Joey chose 26-year-old junior project manager Kelsey Anderson and proposed in the season finale.

The two are still together. Kelsey was recently spotted in the Dancing With the Stars audience cheering her fiancé on. Kelsey’s father, Mark Anderson, is currently appearing on the first season of The Golden Bachelorette with Joan Vassos.

Where are they now?

Season 1, Amanda Marsh

Did they get married? Amanda won the final rose on Alex Michel’s season of The Bachelor. While they dated for a time following the show, they broke up.

Season 2, Helene Eksterowicz

Helene was Bachelor Aaron Buerge’s final rose on season 2 of The Bachelor. Did they get married? The two left the show engaged, but broke up shortly after. Helene is currently married to husband Andrew Goodman, and is a school psychologist.

Season 3, Jen Schefft

Jen received Andrew Firestone’s final rose and got engaged to him on season 3 of the show. Did they get married? While the two didn’t work long-term, she did take a second shot at love, becoming the lead on The Bachelorette. Despite being proposed to by both of her finalists, Jen turned both men down. She has been married to Joe Waterman since 2009, and the couple has two children. Jen hosts From The Bachelor to the Burbs podcast.

Season 4, Estella Gardinier

Estella received a promise ring from season 4 Bachelor Bob Guiney. Did they get married? They split shortly after the show aired.

Season 5, Jessica Bowlin

Jessica was Jesse Palmer’s final pick. If his name sounds familiar, in addition to being a retired NFL player, he is now the second-ever host of the Bachelor franchise. Jesse replaced Chris Harrison as host in September 2021. Did they get married? Jesse never proposed to Jessica. The two did date after the show, but broke up.

Season 6, Mary Delgado

Even though Mary and Bachelor Byron Velvick were relatively successful in terms of Bachelor Nation success stories, their season was arguably one of the most forgettable in the history of the show. Did they get married? Byron proposed to Mary on the show, and they stayed together for years. Ultimately, they ended the relationship.

Season 7, Sarah Brice

Charlie O’Connell chose Sarah as his final pick on his season of the show. Did they get married? They made several attempts to make the relationship work, but are no longer together.

Season 8, Sarah Stone

The Bachelor lead and the Doctors host Travis Stork got together with Sarah Stone on the show but not engaged. Did they get married? The two did not work out long-term. Sarah currently cohosts the Say It Southern podcast.

Season 9, Jennifer Wilson

In an interesting new twist in their choice for lead, the Bachelor chose Prince Lorenzo Borghese to take a shot at finding love. He gave his final rose to Jennifer Wilson. Did they get married? They dated for a year after the show ended, but Jennifer never became Princess Jennifer Borghese.

Season 10, Tessa Horst

Andy Baldwin helmed the 10th season of The Bachelor. He chose Tessa and proposed to her on the show. Did they get married? Of course not.

Season 11, Emily Maynard

Oh Brad, Brad, Brad. Brad Womack had the choice between Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas. In the “most shocking finale in Bachelor history”, Brad chose…no one. DeAnna did go on to become The Bachelorette, so it wasn’t a total loss. And it wouldn’t be the last we saw of Brad. Keep reading…

Season 12, Shayne Lamas

Bachelor Matt Grant proposed to Shayne Lamas, daughter of famous American actor Lorenzo Lamas. Did they get married? If you haven’t caught up yet, The Bachelor doesn’t exactly have a high rate of success when it comes to long-term relationships. Shayne and Matt have both moved on.

Season 13, Melissa Rycroft/Molly Malaney

Melissa has already been mentioned above, but if you’re a fan of the franchise, you know she was dumped by Bachelor Jason Mesnick shortly after the finale, and he got back together with runner-up Molly Malaney. Melissa continued her stint on reality TV by hosting several other shows including ABC’s Bachelor Pad and Dancing with the Stars.

Did they get married? Nope.

Season 14, Vienna Girardi

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison promised at the beginning of every season that it would be the “most dramatic season of The Bachelor," but boy, did he deliver this time. Vienna Girardi was the villain of the season, constantly arguing with the other women, and going on to have a toxic relationship with bachelor Jake Pavelka. Regardless, Jake chose Vienna as his final pick, and the two got engaged.

Did they get married? Thankfully, no. After an explosive reunion filled with fighting, the two broke up.

Season 15, Emily Maynard

Guess who’s back, back again. Brad Womack’s back, warn your friends. Making The Bachelor history, Brad Womack is the only double attempt bachelor to try to find love. He chose southern belle Emily Maynard to give his final rose to, as well as a nice, fancy Neil Lane rock.

Did they get married? Considering Emily Maynard became our next lead on The Bachelorette, it’s safe to say the two were not a long term fit.

Season 16, Courtney Robertson

It was back-to-back villain choices on seasons 14 and 15 of The Bachelor. Bachelor Ben Flajnick chose controversial model Courtney Robertson as his final rose. While their scandalous beach date may have influenced his decision, the two did make several attempts to make it work.

Did they get married? After rekindling their relationship, things ended for good in 2012.

Season 17, Catherine Giudici

See this success story at the top of the page.

Season 18, Nikki Ferrell

Personally, Juan Pablo, who went on to “choose” Nikki, is my least favorite Bachelor. Despite clearly being there for all the wrong reasons, Juan Pablo did choose Nikki Ferrell to receive his final rose. That also led to runner-up Clare Crawley’s even more disastrous Bachelorette run, but that’s a story for another time. Did they get married? That’s a big, fat no.

Season 19, Whitney Bischoff

Whitney was proposed to by season 19 Bachelor Chris Soules. Their relationship just barely crawled past the finale. Did they get married? They did get engaged, but that’s where their love story ended.

Season 20, Lauren Bushnell

I like to call this the season of renewed hope for The Bachelor series. After several questionable couplings, Lauren and bachelor Ben Higgins seemed like they could really make it the long haul after getting engaged in The Bachelor season 20 finale. They hosted Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings special, for crying out loud!

Did they get married? While the couple was together for a year, they did not ultimately get married.

Season 21, Vanessa Grimaldi

Nick Viall really tried to win over the hearts and minds of Bachelor Nation, and still is somewhat on his podcast The Viall Files. He wasn’t the only success story from this season 21 couple, though. Nick and Vanessa (not the Lacheys) got engaged on Nick’s season of The Bachelor

Did they get married? No. Nick is currently married to his Viall Files co-host Natalie Joy. Vanessa Grimaldi is an actress, having appeared in Ascension and Blue Mountain State. She recently went public to People magazine about her miscarriage to help support other women experiencing pregnancy loss.

Season 22, Lauren Burnham

Lauren and Arie were one of the few success stories from the series. You can see the recap of The Bachelor couples who are still married above.

Season 23, Cassie Randolph

The fence jump that launched 1,000 memes all started when season 23 winner Cassie Randolph self-eliminated from Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. Despite not being ready for an engagement, Colton wooed Cassie, eliminating his two finalists.

Cassie and Colton had one of the most dramatic relationships in Bachelor history. After allegations of stalking, Cassie filed for a restraining order against Colton.

Did they get married? No. In fact, Colton is currently expecting his first child with husband Jordan Brown. He came out following his time on The Bachelor. Cassie is a speech therapist and advocate for House Cat rescue. She has been with boyfriend Brighton Reinhardt for several years.

Season 24, Hannah Ann Sluss

Pilot Pete a.ka Peter Weber from Hannah Brown’s windmill chose Hannah Ann on the season 24 finale of The Bachelor. As is the running theme for Bachelors network-wide, Peter unceremoniously dumped Hannah Ann to go running back to runner-up Madison Prewett. In a first for Bachelor Nation, he and Madison also broke up and he dated his third runner-up, who he met prior to the show filming, Kelley Flanagan.

Did they get married? Peter did not end up marrying any of his three final choices.

Season 25, Rachael Kirkconnell

Rachael and her bachelor Matt James are one of the few series success stories. You can read all about their relationship in “who’s still together” above.

Season 26, Technically no one

Bachelor Clayton Echard faced his share of difficulties as the season 26 Bachelor. Susie Evans initially dumped Clayton after finding out he had spent the night with future Bachelorettes Gaby Windey and Rachel Recchia. Despite getting together with both, he didn’t feel a long-lasting connection with them and was left alone, realizing he truly had feelings for Susie.

Did they get married? While Susie and Clayton did try to make it work outside of the show, the two are not together.

Season 27, Kaity Biggar

Another success story! Kaity is still engaged to season 27 Bachelor Zach Shallcross. More details about their love story at the top of the article. Did they get married? Not yet!

Season 28, Kelsey Anderson

While they’re still the newest couple from the franchise, final rose recipient Kelsey Anderson and Bachelor Joey Graziadei are engaged. You can read about the couple above.

Did they get married? Give it time; their season just wrapped.

And that is your recap of all 28 seasons of The Bachelor and where all the couples stand. Which couple is your favorite?
