Love is Blind's biggest secrets: The engagements you didn't see

Sometimes, the pod gods deliver and more than five couples get engaged on Love is Blind. The show doesn't follow everyone, though. Here are some of couples you didn't see that got engaged on Love is Blind.

While the magic formula for Love is Blind is typically to follow six couples who get engaged sight unseen, sometimes more couples get engaged that we don't see make it to the altar. While season 7 featured additional relationships, prior seasons had engagements with couples who we didn't see at all. Here's a breakdown of the unseen engagements and love stories that were cut short on the show.

Season 7 - Brittany Wisniewski and Leo Braudy

Brittany and Leo's romance wasn't a big secret, but it was a big letdown. The two got engaged in the pods during a very interesting proposal, and after dragging us through five episodes of pod dates, the producers left us hanging with a single-screen title explaining they were not chosen to go to Mexico with the rest of the couples.

Leo and Brittany seemed to have a heads up they might not move forward, as they had discussed going to Miami instead, which they did. The audacity of producers to not even splurge for some selfie cams for the couple to document their time together post-pods! While they broke up, their friendship has been one of the most entertaining relationships to come from the show. They've posted some fun, self-mocking TikToks and remain good friends.

Season 5 - Paige Tillman and Josh Simmons

Houston pod couple Paige and Josh didn't get any screen time, but they did get engaged. The two really wanted to make it work, and continued to date post-pods. Ultimately, their life goals were just too different. Paige wanted to leave Houston eventually, and Josh had roots there and didn't want to hold her back.

We might have seen it play out on camera, except for one minor glitch. In an interview on The LovePod, Josh revealed he unknowingly followed Paige on Instagram, and producers somehow found out. Despite explaining the situation, production sent them both home without even allowing them to say goodbye to each other. They did reconnect when they got back to Houston but broke up shortly after. Both are doing great. While we don't know her relationship status, Paige found a different kind of love with friends from the reality TV community. Josh welcomed baby Luke with longtime love Samantha Cheek.

Season 4 - Wendi Kong and Jimmy Forde

Wendi and Jimmy got engaged on the Seattle season of Love is Blind, but their story didn't air. According to her Out of the Pods interview, it was a relief. The couple was told shortly after their reveal that they would not be going on the couple's vacation to Mexico.

Wendi and Jimmy did stay engaged for a few months post-pods but ultimately didn't work out. Wendi went on to date fellow cast member Paul Peden, whose love story with ex-fiancee Micah Lussier did air. At the end of the day, Wendi and Paul felt they were way too similar and ended their relationship as well.

Season 4 - Ava Van Jenson and JP Schultz

JP was Ava's #1 from day 1, but JP had to sort out his feelings for his other pod connections, Micah and Chelsea Griffin. At the end of the experiment, his strongest relationship was with Ava, and the two got engaged. The relationship didn't last long.

Once they got word they wouldn't be continuing on filming, the two broke up via text. JP wanted to date and see where it went, and Ava wasn't ready to take a step back in the relationship.

Season 2- Caitlin McKee and Joey Miller

Caitlin and Joey met in the pods on the Chicago season of Love is Blind. The couple also were not chosen to film after they got engaged, but stayed together and even met each other's families. The two remain friends but are no longer in a relationship.

Season 2 - Kara Williams and Jason Beaumont

Considering the mess that was Love is Blind season 2, you'd think they'd hang on to some of the other unseen couples to have at least one successful love story. One of those stories you didn't see included the engagement between Kara and Jason. The two are no longer together.

Season 1- Danielle Drouin and Rory Newbrough

Danielle and Rory's relationship in season 1 was one of the more wholesome stories we didn't see. There was no drama or no bad blood. The men's unofficial therapist, Rory bonded with Danielle over their shared love of animals and lifestyles.

The couple wasn't chosen to join the others in Mexico, and like Brittany and Leo, ended up taking a trip to Miami without the camera crew. Unfortunately, the bond wasn't meant to last. Once they got back home, the two broke things off. Danielle dated fellow pod squad cast member Matt Thomas for a short time, but ultimately that relationship didn't work out.

Season 1 - Lexie Skipper and Westley Baer

Westley felt a strong connection with Lexie from their first pod date. They bonded over shared family values, and when Westley mentioned his dreams of having a big family Christmas, Lexie planned a special surprise for him, having the pod decorated and Christmas music playing.

Like some of the other couples, Lexie and Westley weren't chosen to go to Mexico. The two continued to date, but ultimately Westley ended up moving to Singapore for a job opportunity and the couple couldn't make long distance work. While they did eventually end up in the same city, and neighbors no less, they never reconnected.

Two engagements that did not have happy endings but still did occur were on Love is Blind season 5. Tran Dang got engaged to Thomas Smith, and Renee Poche matched with Carter Wall. Due to the nature of allegations of what occurred between the couples, and out of respect for the victims, we're going to leave those details out.
