The cliff hanger on last week's episode of House of Villains wasn't the only bomb dropped on the villains. Immediately after The Bachelor's Victoria Larson got banished, host Joel McHale mysteriously asked the villains to line up in order from least to most villainous. What were the results? Read on for your weekly House of Villains recap of this week's episode, F Bombs Away.
Double banishment banter
After some heated debate about where the villains should stack up, Big Brother's Jessie "Mr. Pectacular" Godderz swapped the least villainous position last minute with Real Housewives of New Jersey's "Mother" Teresa Giudice. That fateful decision led to Teresa joining Vicky in banishment hell. This isn't house of saints, after all.
New York was not happy with this decision and went off on Jessie in true I Love New York fashion. In addition to insulting him, she, again, let it publicly known that Jessie was her target for banishment this week. Watch your back, Mr. Pectacular. The hard feelings don't last long though, because in case you forgot, Safaree and Wes swapped wardrobes. Wes channeled some Safaree energy and delivered a motivational speech about why they're really all there - to get that bag. Two less villains betters the odds at winning the grand prize of $200,000. That certainly quieted everyone down.
Spies, lies and allies
It was a big week for loyalty tests in the lair. Secret alliances are coming to light as each of the villains reveals their strategy in hopes of securing safety. How'd it shake out?
First, we had Kandy Muse and Jessie teaming up to take down Wes. They don't know what's up with his secret knock blocker power, but they want none of it. Jessie knows that eliminating one of the biggest threats in the game is necessary, and he's ready to pull the trigger.
Before he can make his big move, however, Kandy runs to Safaree to spill the tea about the letter Wes showed her giving him the power to knock out whoever is supervillain of the week (footage not found as it doesn't exist). There goes Wes's other big public alliance. Don't worry, he's a Challenge vet. He may be down, but he's not out.
Larsa, the last housewife standing, renews her vow to Wes to ride with him to the end and becomes a bro squad with Safaree and Wes. She doesn't know that Safaree is considering switching sides, and he runs off and shares Wes's secret with New York and Larsa. It may not matter to Larsa, but it...also doesn't matter to New York. Surprise! They're both riding with Wes. Sorry, boys. You're going to have to come up with another plan.
Battle royale: bombs away
None of these friendships will matter if the wrong villain becomes supervillain of the week, so let's recap this week's challenge. The villains tested their aim by sling shotting bombs at targets across the battle field. With only two nominations and no immunity challenge this week, it's straight down to banishment for the hit list choices this week.
While Jessie and Wes were neck and neck at one point, the power of adding additional bombs to drop on the competition knocked Wes out of the race. Kandy and shockingly, Safaree teamed up and added 20+ bombs, making it impossible for Wes to win.
With Jessie as supervillain of the week, he hatches a plan that we know is sure to shake up the house but also one of the dumbest moves in competition history (unless you're Bobby Lytes), nominating himself. Jessie is betting he's so likeable, if he goes against Wes, it's a sure thing he will be safe. I see no issues there. That absolutely never bites someone in the ---.
Strategery afoot
Yes, I know I spelled strategy wrong. That's because whatever these villains are plotting is not right. For them anyway, it does make entertaining television.
Poor, innocent Mr. Pectacular hopes to recruit New York to his side when he backstabs Wes. He shares his self-nomination plan. Little does he know that Wes and New York go way back, so she goes straight to Wes to tell him the plan. Not to be outdone, Wes shifts his strategy and fesses up to Safaree and Jessie about his not so secret, fake advantage. Now the boy's alliance is starting to break apart. Safaree and Jessie aren't buying Wes' story.
Now, we know Wes is a very strategic player. He usually is playing chess while the other villains are playing checkers. What he didn't anticipate, however, is Safaree knowing Bobby Lytes. When Safaree makes a quick phone call to verify that Wes received the knock blocking advantage from Bobby, Bobby shuts that rumor down. Is this the end of the line for The Challenge mastermind?
Jessie very accurately called New York a chaos plant. Proving him right, she eavesdrops on the villain's plot to get Wes out of the competition. Once again, finding out they're on to him, Wes pivots and straight up swears on his daughter's life that he will be loyal to Jessie. What's going on here, Wes?
Hit list nominations
Once again, Wes secures his spot for the week and Jessie changes his mind about nominating himself. His choices for the hit list are New York, no surprises there, and...Kandy Muse?! Oh how the turn tables. The two best shade throwers in the business one up each other slinging insults at Jessie, but the winner is New York, calling Jessie an uncircumsized chicken finger. Will those be her final works before banishment?
It's another cliff hanger, because we won't find out until next week! But wait, there's more. Joel announces yet another banishment surprise for the villains. How will it change the game? Only one way to find out.
Will New York or Kandy be the next to be banished on House of Villains?
