Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Night 6 Recap: Super Model's run ends on DWTS

Week 5 in the Ballroom brought some spicy dances and some emotional performances as part of dedication night on Dancing With the Stars. At the end of the night, the show bid farewell to one of its stars, who was stunned at her exit.

Brooks Nader, model and cover girl, has had a flirty relationship with partner Gleb Savchenko. That came into play Tuesday, too, as she dedicated her dance to her three sisters, who flew in to be a part of the dance. It was a fun and stylish salsa that earned her 32 out of 40 from the judges. But that wasn’t enough to keep her in the competition.

Nader looked stunned when it was announced she was the latest star voted out of the competition. Despite that, she and Gleb were positive about the experience. That was just part of a wild and emotional night on the show.

The most emotional moment came from judge Derek Hough, who performed a special dance with his wife, Hayley Erbert. It came on the heels of a difficult season that saw Hayley undergo emergency brain surgery in 2023. Hough shared their story and the dance that followed was the emotional highlight of the night.

Elsewhere on the floor, it was a good night for the Olympians, who each dedicated their dance to their Olympic sport. Stephen Nedorosik got his first nine of the season, finishing with 33 for his Argentine Tango. Meanwhile Ilona Maher rebounded from a rough and emotional Week 4 performance to deliver a beautiful Rumba.

The top scores of the night when to former NFL star Danny Amendola, who danced the Contemporary in honor of his late college coach, and Joey Graziadei, who dedicated his Viennese Waltz to his fiancé Kelsey Anderson. Each earned a 36 out of 40 from the judges.

At the bottom of the week was Dwight Howard, who managed just 29 out of 40 for his Rumba.

With Nader out, the competition is down to just eight couples. New episodes air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
