Dancing With The Stars 500th Episode: How did Bachelor Star Joey Graziadei Do?

This week's episode of Dancing With The Stars was the 500th, and it was a wonderful episode! As a longtime fan of this show, I thought it was a great way to honor its long run. We still have one Bachelor franchise member competing for the Mirror Ball: Joey Graziadi! 

For the 500th episode, the stars chose a dance to reimagine from a previous season of Dancing With The Stars. Each pair put their own spin on it, bringing the past to life!

1. Joey's first dance

For their first dance, Joey and Jenna danced a contemporary inspired by Riker Lynch and Allison Holker from Season 20. Jenna said it would be “a love letter to the bond” they’ve created, and Joey said it would be their “most connected dance yet!”

Joey and Jenna danced to “Work Song” by Hozier, and it was beautiful!

Bruno said “the expectations are very, very high” and that it was “very powerful, very deeply felt.”

Carrie Ann said they “did a beautiful job” but “lacked a bit of rawness.”

Derek disagreed with Carrie Ann, and said it felt “so solid” and “really connected as a partnership.”

Joey and Jenna earned a 9, 10, and another 9, for a combined 28 out of 30!

2. Joey's second dance

The second dance of the night was an Insta-Dance! The stars chose a style of dance at random and had to put it to a random song after only a few minutes of practice!

Terrifying!

Thankfully, Joey’s amazingness continued to amaze. Joey and Jenna danced a rumba.

The judges were very impressed with their on-the-spot dance!

Bruno said he likes his rumbas hot and that their dance was “steaming.” 

Carrie Ann commended them for dancing under pressure and said it was “beautiful, lyrical, and sensual.”

Derek said the rumba was “the perfect dance for Joey.” 

For this dance, Joey and Jenna earned a 9, 9, and 9 from the judges, for a combined score of 27 out of 30!

Thankfully, Joey and Jenna made it through to next week’s semifinals!
